PhD, MD, DSc, Professor, doctor of the highest category, gynecological oncologist, leading research fellow.  He is an expert in all currently available methods of diagnosis and treatment of female reproductive system cancers and can perform all types of surgery used in gynecological oncology. Dr. Kuznetsov has performed more than 12,000 different operations during his career. He constantly sees patients at an outpatient and other departments of N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology, Ministry of Health of Russia, as well as in other healthcare institutions in Russia and CIS countries.

Education

1973: graduated from I.P. Pavlov First Leningrad State Medical University (general medicine).

1977–1980: postgraduate education (PhD student) in oncology, N.N. Petrov Research Institute of Oncology.

1980: defended his thesis (candidate of medical sciences) entitled “Treatment of patients with cervical cancer and regional lymph node metastases”.

1991: defended his thesis (doctor of medical sciences) entitled “Clinical and pathogenetic rationale for female reproductive cancer screening (uterine, breast, and ovarian cancer)”.

2012: “Excellent healthcare worker” award.

Dr. Kuznetsov has coauthored more than 350 publications, including chapters in 8 monographs and 4 patents. He is an experienced teacher: 30 PhD/MD theses and 6 DMSc theses were successfully defended under his supervision.
